The Belledune Port Authority prides itself on providing accurate operational information in a timely fashion.

ACCESS TO INFORMATION

The Belledune Port Authority is subject to the Access to Information Act. Under this Act, it must respond to requests made by the public or organizations.

WHO CAN MAKE A REQUEST?

You must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or have an address in Canada to make an Access to Information request. If you are a Canadian living outside Canada, you must provide proof of citizenship to receive the information you are requesting.

Corporations, businesses and organizations with a presence in Canada are eligible to make an Access to Information request.

TO MAKE A REQUEST FOR ACCESS TO RECORDS

You may send a dated and signed letter containing the following information:

  • A statement indicating that you are making a request under the Access to Information Act;
  • A description as specific as possible of what records you are seeking;
  • Your name, address, phone number(s) and an email address if you have one.
  • Enclose a cheque or money order for $5 payable to the Belledune Port Authority for the application fee.
