Pilotage / Atlantic Pilotage Authority
The Atlantic Pilotage Authority (APA) is a Federal Crown Corporation who provides marine pilotage service to the Port of Belledune, subject to pilot availability. The Port of Belledune is a compulsory pilotage port, therefore all vessels require pilots. The Atlantic Pilotage Authority was established February 1, 1972, pursuant to the Pilotage Act and subsequent Federal Government regulations..
